FALLS COUNTY, Texas (FOX 44) – A devastating incident unfolded in Falls County as a teenager lost their life in a fatal crash.
According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the tragic collision took place on Highway 7 around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, near the vicinity of FM-2643, to the east of Bruceville-Eddy.
The heart-wrenching incident involved a Mack truck travelling in an eastward direction that collided with a Ford passenger car attempting to execute a U-turn manoeuvre. Tragically, the driver of the Ford, a 15-year-old male hailing from Rogers, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. The 16-year-old passenger of the Ford was swiftly transported to Baylor Scott and White in Temple for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
