A Montgomery man, identified as 27-year-old Michael Lockhart, has been arrested and charged with attempting to elude a state trooper after leading the officer on a chase earlier today.
The incident occurred when an Alabama State Trooper observed Lockhart driving erratically on the Alabama River Parkway near North Chase Apartments around 10:30 AM. The trooper attempted to pull over Lockhart’s vehicle, but he refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit.
The chase continued onto Northern Boulevard until Lockhart was eventually apprehended and taken into custody. He has since been transported to Montgomery County Jail to face charges.
