Irfan Nawab Ali Shaikh : “32-Year-Old Man Dead in Mumbai Bike Accident”

A 32-year-old man lost his life in a tragic road accident in the Mazgaon area of Mumbai on Thursday morning. The victim, identified as Irfan Nawab Ali Shaikh, suffered severe injuries and was rushed to JJ Hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries, as confirmed by the police.

Following the incident, the JJ Marg Police Station took swift action and apprehended the 15-year-old rider involved in the accident. The minor has been sent to Dongri Children’s Home, and the minor’s father has also been arrested in connection with the case.

Authorities have registered a case under section 304(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 3 and 4 of the Motor Vehicle Act in relation to the tragic incident.

This unfortunate event comes in the wake of a recent high-profile road accident in Pune involving a teenager driving a Porsche while under the influence of alcohol. The collision resulted in the tragic deaths of two young IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh.

Anis Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, both aged 24 and on their way back from a dinner with friends, were fatally struck by the speeding Porsche at the Kalyani Nagar junction in Pune. Both victims succumbed to their injuries in the aftermath of the devastating crash.

The 17-year-old driver of the Porsche was brought before the Juvenile Justice Board and granted bail on the same day, sparking controversy over the conditions imposed, including volunteering with the traffic police and writing an essay on road accidents.

In a related development, the father of the minor involved in the Pune incident was apprehended by crime branch officers in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar town in central Maharashtra. The teenager’s father, a well-known real estate developer, is now in police custody.
