The Graves County Sheriff’s office has recently shared surveillance photos from a burglary that took place in the Dukedom area near the Kentucky/Tennessee border earlier this month.
According to detectives, the incident occurred on May 11 when a male and a female suspect broke into a residence and garage in the area. The perpetrators stole a chainsaw and various other items, causing damage to a door and a window during their forced entry.
Surveillance footage captured clear images of the two suspects, with one individual positively identified as 34-year-old Bobby J. McCord. McCord is known to have residences in both Water Valley and South Fulton.
Authorities have reason to believe that McCord may have evaded capture in Water Valley last week by hiding in a wooded area while sheriff’s detectives were conducting a search for him. McCord has a history of prior convictions for burglary and multiple theft offences.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the public for any information that may lead to McCord’s whereabouts. Individuals with relevant information are encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (270) 247-4501.
