Accident – Death – Obituary News :
A tragic incident occurred in Jagtial district as a 17-year-old boy lost his life and his father sustained injuries in a devastating road accident. The young boy, identified as Sai Akshay, was the son of Shiva Ramakrishna, a prominent businessman from Metpalli town.
The father-son duo had been on a journey back to Metpalli from Hyderabad after touring several colleges in the State capital to explore undergraduate course options. Tragically, their car was struck by a speeding lorry at a sharp curve in Rajeshwara Rao Pet village, resulting in the untimely death of Sai Akshay. Shiva Ramakrishna, who was driving at the time, suffered severe injuries in the collision.
Passersby quickly came to their aid and rushed Shiva Ramakrishna to a nearby hospital in Metpalli. Fortunately, his condition is now reported to be stable following the traumatic accident.
Fatal Bus Accident
In a separate incident in Nirmal district, a private travel bus en route to Hyderabad met with a tragic accident on the ghat section of National Highway 44 near Nirmal town. The bus, carrying passengers at high speed, overturned as the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle.
Regrettably, one passenger lost their life in the accident, while 30 others sustained varying degrees of injuries. The injured individuals were promptly transferred to the Government Hospital in Nirmal for immediate medical attention. Thankfully, the majority of the injured passengers, with the exception of two, are now deemed to be in stable condition.
The Nirmal rural police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the bus accident to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
