Kalady: A tragic incident unfolded in Thailand last Friday as Kadapparamban Varghese, a 65-year-old Malayali tourist from Kadappara in Malayattoor, was fatally shot by armed robbers. Reports suggest that Varghese lost his life while bravely resisting a robbery attempt in the foreign land.

According to recent updates received by Varghese’s family members, two suspects have been apprehended by the Thai authorities in connection with the violent crime. However, the stolen money and other belongings of the victim are yet to be recovered.

Varghese, who had relocated to Mumbai two decades ago, had embarked on a holiday trip to Thailand just a month ago. Tragically, he leaves behind his grieving wife and two daughters.
