Tony Smith : 2022 Miamisburg Shooting: Man Found Guilty

In a recent development, a man has been found guilty after being accused of shooting and killing a Miamisburg man back in 2022. Tony Smith, 29, was convicted by a jury in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court last week on multiple charges related to the incident.

According to court documents, Smith was found guilty of four counts of aggravated murder, two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, and a count of tampering.

The case dates back to April 2022 when police responded to a residence on Pearl Street following a report of an unresponsive male. The victim, identified as Dylan Judd, 28, was found lying in a pool of blood inside the home with two gunshot wounds to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 911 call revealed that the victim’s girlfriend discovered him upon returning home from work. She described finding him face-down on the floor with a gash on his head and bleeding.

An investigation, which included video surveillance footage from the area, led authorities to a suspect who was seen arriving and leaving the scene on a bicycle. The suspect, later identified as Smith, was found wearing a backpack that contained items stolen from Judd’s house.

Smith is set to be sentenced on June 4. The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office has been handling the case, and further updates are expected following the sentencing.
