The Colleyville Police Department was called to a residence on St. Moritz Parkway in Colleyville, Texas on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, to respond to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered a tragic scene – a woman had been fatally stabbed in the house.
The victim was identified as 57-year-old Cathy Jones-Hudiburg, a resident of Colleyville. She was found unconscious on the kitchen floor with a fatal stab wound. Despite the efforts of paramedics from the Colleyville Fire Department, Jones-Hudiburg was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two male family members were detained by the police at the scene. After an investigation, the victim’s husband, 57-year-old Jason Hudiburg, was arrested and is now facing murder charges. He is currently in custody.
The Colleyville Police Department is working in conjunction with North Richland Hills Crime Scene Investigators to process the crime scene and gather evidence related to this tragic incident.
