The Colleyville Police Department was called to a domestic disturbance on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Colleyville, Texas. Upon arrival at the residence on the 6700 block of St. Moritz Pkwy, officers discovered a tragic scene.
Inside the house, they found 57-year-old Cathy Jones-Hudiburg, a resident of Colleyville, Texas, lying unconscious on the kitchen floor. Despite the efforts of paramedics from the Colleyville Fire Department, Jones-Hudiburg was pronounced dead at the scene due to a fatal stab wound.
Two male family members present at the scene were detained by the officers for questioning. Following a thorough investigation, the victim’s husband, 57-year-old Jason Hudiburg, was arrested and is currently in custody facing murder charges.
The Colleyville Police Department is working in collaboration with North Richland Hills Crime Scene Investigators to process the crime scene and gather evidence.
