In a tragic turn of events during Tuesday’s severe storms and tornadoes in Adams County, local authorities have identified the victim as 46-year-old Monica Zamarron.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported that Zamarron lost her life after her vehicle was forcefully blown off the roadway near the intersection of Highway 148 and Joshua Tree Avenue. First responders rushed to the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m., where deputies discovered Zamarron’s lifeless body.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office expressed their gratitude to neighbouring counties for their swift response and assistance during the incident.

Tragedy struck in Adams County on Tuesday afternoon as severe storms and tornadoes wreaked havoc, resulting in the untimely death of an individual.
Chief Deputy Richard Miller from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office revealed that at around 3:30 p.m., emergency responders were alerted to a vehicle with a sole occupant that had been forcefully blown off the roadway near Highway 148 and Joshua Tree Avenue. Deputies later confirmed the fatality of a female victim from the accident.
Out of respect for the family, the names of those involved are being withheld at this time. Adams County officials expressed their appreciation for the collaborative efforts of nearby counties in responding to the tragic incident.
