Law enforcement officers were called to the 4500 block on Emma Dr. following reports of a domestic violence incident in progress. A distressed female victim sought refuge at a neighbour’s house, recounting a harrowing experience where she was allegedly assaulted and forcibly held by her boyfriend, identified as Kenneth Myers. The victim informed deputies that the suspect was believed to be inside her nearby residence, possibly hiding in the attic.

Despite efforts by deputies to establish communication with the suspect and persuade him to surrender peacefully, their attempts were unsuccessful. Subsequently, a search warrant was obtained for the residence, and deputies conducted a thorough search of the premises. However, the suspect was nowhere to be found, having apparently fled before law enforcement could secure the area.

The suspect, 49-year-old Kenneth Myers from Evansville, Indiana, now faces pending felony charges including Domestic Battery, Criminal Confinement, and Intimidation, with the potential for additional charges to be added as the investigation progresses. Authorities have issued a public appeal for Mr. Myers to voluntarily surrender himself at the Sheriff’s Office to engage with detectives regarding his alleged involvement in the incident.
