Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident has occurred at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the Chhattisgarh capital city of Raipur, where a 25-year-old medical student was discovered dead in his hostel room on campus. The student, identified as Ranjeet Bhoyar, was found in an unconscious state by his friends, who immediately alerted the hostel warden. Upon examination by doctors, it was determined that Bhoyar had passed away, allegedly due to an overdose of medication.

Bhoyar, who was pursuing his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) PG internship, was reportedly undergoing treatment for depression. The police have indicated that no suicide note was found at the scene. Originally from Odisha’s Bhubaneswar, Bhoyar’s untimely demise has left both his family and the medical community in shock.

Authorities are currently waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death. A preliminary investigation has revealed that Bhoyar had been struggling with depression and had not completed his PG internship for over a year. The police have assured the public that legal proceedings have been initiated in response to this tragic incident.
