The unfortunate incident took place at a quarry lake on a fateful Monday evening.
Tausif’s friends, who were present at the scene and were bathing in the lake, tried desperately to rescue him as he struggled in the water. Despite their efforts, they were unable to save him. The distressed friends immediately raised the alarm, alerting local residents and the authorities, prompting a search operation to retrieve Tausif’s body, which was discovered later.
A video capturing the tragic event has since circulated widely on social media platforms, showing Tausif taking the fateful leap into the water while being recorded by a friend. Tragically, the joyous moment quickly turned into a nightmare as Tausif began to struggle and ultimately succumbed to the deep waters.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijay Kumar Kushwaha provided insight into the heartbreaking turn of events, revealing that Tausif tragically lost control and drowned in the deep waters after his ill-fated jump from a significant height.

Just this month, a 22-year-old man in Rajasthan’s Kota district accidentally shot himself in the chest while filming an Instagram reel with a country-made pistol. The fatal mishap occurred when the firearm discharged unexpectedly, resulting in the young man’s untimely demise. In a separate incident in April, a 21-year-old individual in Uttar Pradesh faced a similar fate while attempting a viral Instagram stunt that involved hanging upside down from a flagpole on a school roof.
