Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Delhi Police have made a significant breakthrough in the case of anti-Arvind Kejriwal graffiti appearing at various stations of the Delhi Metro. A 33-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, identified as Ankit Goel, has been arrested in connection with the incident. Goel, who works as a loan manager in a government bank, allegedly wrote derogatory messages targeting the Delhi Chief Minister and posted pictures of the graffiti on his Instagram account.

The images of the graffiti went viral on social media on Monday, sparking outrage from the Aam Aadmi Party. A CCTV video also surfaced online, capturing the moment Goel defaced the walls of a metro station with his messages. It is believed that Goel travelled to Delhi specifically to carry out these acts before returning to his hometown.

During questioning, Goel revealed that he was once a supporter of the Aam Aadmi Party but had become disillusioned with the party’s recent actions. The messages he wrote inside metro coaches and stations were shared through his Instagram account, ‘ankit.goel_91’. One particularly disturbing message inside a metro coach read, ‘Kejriwal Dilli Chhor Dijiye (Kejriwal, leave Delhi). Please. Otherwise, you will have to remember three slaps, which you planted (sic) before the election. Now the real and actual punch/slap will be there soon. Today’s meeting at Jhandewalan…. Ankit.Goel_91.’

Goel has been produced before the Tis Hazari court in Delhi, where further legal proceedings will take place. The police have commended the swift action taken in apprehending the suspect and are continuing their investigation into the matter.

This incident serves as a reminder of the impact of social media and the consequences of spreading hate speech online. It also highlights the importance of responsible behaviour and the need to uphold the values of respect and tolerance in our society. The Delhi Police are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any instances of vandalism or hate speech to the authorities promptly.

In conclusion, the arrest of Ankit Goel sheds light on the dangers of spreading hatred and inciting violence through social media platforms. The police are working diligently to ensure that individuals who engage in such activities are held accountable for their actions. Let this serve as a warning to those who seek to sow discord and division in our communities..
