New Delhi, May 22 (SocialNews.XYZ) – Tragedy struck in Delhi’s Shahdara area as an 18-year-old boy lost his life and four others were injured in a violent quarrel between two brothers over a property dispute. The incident took place on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the local community.
The deceased victim was identified as Suhan, while the injured individuals were Faizan (19), Nisha (42), Imran (45), and Shamshad (28). All of them are residents of Rashid Market, located near Shahi Masjid.
According to the police, a distress call was received by the Jagatpuri police station reporting a dispute between the two brothers at a residence in the area. Upon arrival, the police discovered that the injured had already been rushed to Dr. Hedgewar Hospital. Tragically, Suhan was declared dead on arrival by medical staff.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the root of the conflict stemmed from a property owned by Saied Ahmed in Rashid Market. Saied Ahmed has six sons, three of whom are alive: Istekaar, Julfikaar, and Imran. The disagreement arose when Imran expressed his desire to sell the property, which was objected to by Julfikaar.
This property dispute had created long-standing animosity between Julfikaar and Imran, leading to tension among their family members. The situation escalated on Tuesday, resulting in a violent altercation that left Imran, Suhan, Faizan, Nisha, and Shamshad injured.
Following a thorough investigation, Mursheed (33), Julfikar Ahmed, and his wife Shabana have been taken into custody by the authorities. The police are continuing their inquiries to gather more information and piece together the sequence of events that led to this tragic outcome.
