Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident occurred in Alpharetta, Georgia, resulting in the untimely death of three Indian-American students and leaving two others critically injured. The fatal car crash is believed to have been caused by overspeeding, according to initial reports.

The victims of this devastating accident were all 18 years old, with two women among the deceased. Aryan Joshi, a senior at Alpharetta High School, and Sriya Avasarala and Anvi Sharma, both first-year students at the University of Georgia, lost their lives in the crash. Aryan Joshi and Sriya Avasarala were tragically found dead at the scene of the accident, while Anvi Sharma, a rear passenger, succumbed to her injuries later on.

In addition to the three fatalities, two Indian-American students sustained serious injuries in the collision. Rithwak Somepalli, a student at Georgia State University, and Mohammed Liyakath, a senior at Alpharetta High School, were both hurt in the accident. Mohammed Liyakath, who was driving the Honda Accord at the time of the crash, allegedly lost control of the vehicle due to overspeeding.

The injured students, Rithwak Somepalli and Mohammed Liyakath, are currently receiving medical treatment at North Fulton Hospital in Alpharetta. Tributes have poured in for the victims, with the UGA Shikaari dance team remembering Sriya Avasarala as an amazing dancer and friend. Aryan Joshi was honoured by the Alpharetta High Cricket Team for his unwavering support.

The Alpharetta Police Department is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. It is believed that Mohammed Liyakath lost control of the Honda Accord, causing it to overturn and end up in a tree line. The incident occurred on May 14 on Westside Parkway, north of Maxwell Road in Alpharetta.
