BOONE COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – The tragic death of 14-year-old Kyneddi Miller in Boone County has shocked the local community. The young girl was found dead in a bathroom, in an emaciated state, which has led to the arrest of her grandparents.

Charges and Arrest

Donna Sue Stone, 76, and Jerry Carter Stone, 75, have been charged with child neglect resulting in death in connection to Kyneddi’s passing. They are currently being held on a $25,000 property or 10% cash bond.

Family Involvement

Kyneddi’s mother, Julie Miller, also faced legal consequences for her daughter’s tragic demise. She waived her preliminary hearing in April 2024 and was charged with child neglect resulting in death. Julie Miller is currently in custody at the Southwestern Regional Jail on a $250,000 bond.
