Kevin Duane Koch : “Minnesota Semi Crash: Trucker Injured”

Chatfield, MN (KROC-AM News) – A truck driver sustained injuries following a crash involving his semi-truck in southeast Minnesota.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident shortly after 3:20 pm on Monday. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was in need of assistance.

The accident took place on Hwy. 52, south of Chatfield, within Fillmore County, as reported by the Minnesota State Patrol. According to the state crash report, the semi-truck was traveling north when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The driver, identified as 65-year-old Kevin Duane Koch from Chatfield, was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Fortunately, Koch was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, and alcohol was not a factor. Additionally, the crash report indicated that the road conditions on Hwy. 52 were dry.

Responding to the scene were the Chatfield Fire Department, Chatfield Police Department, and Chatfield Ambulance, providing support and assistance following the single-vehicle crash.
