In a tragic turn of events, four teenage girls lost their lives in a drowning incident at Bortalav Lake in Sidsar village, Bhavnagar district. The devastating incident took place on Tuesday when a group of five girls ventured into the waters for a swim, leading to a heartbreaking outcome where only one girl survived.

The five girls, all residents of Devipujak Vasahat behind Bortalav in Sidsar village, made the fateful decision to go swimming in the lake. Unfortunately, during their excursion, they slipped into the deep waters, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives. The victims were identified as nine-year-old Rashi Manishbhai Choradia, 13-year-old Komal Munnabhai Choradia, 13-year-old Archana Hareshbhai Dabhi, and eight-year-old Dhingi Vijaybhai Parmar. The only survivor, 13-year-old Kinjal Choradia, was rescued by bystanders and is currently receiving medical care at the government hospital in Bhavnagar.
