Accident – Death – Obituary News : Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A joyful occasion turned into a tragic one as a prospective bride’s sister met with a fatal accident at the groom’s house in Azad Nagar police circle. The incident occurred when the woman, identified as Santoshi Nihale, accidentally came in contact with a high tension line on the third floor of the man’s house in Idrish Nagar.
Santoshi, a teacher and a graduate in BEd, had accompanied her family for a marriage proposal of her elder sister. As the discussions for the marriage were coming to an end, she decided to explore the house. Unfortunately, while on the terrace, she unknowingly touched the high tension line, resulting in her untimely demise.
The family members of the deceased have alleged that the man’s family failed to warn them about the presence of a power line passing above the terrace. The sudden noise alerted them, and upon reaching the terrace, they found Santoshi lifeless. They also mentioned a recent incident where a labourer had also been electrocuted in a nearby location.
Contrary to the claims made by Santoshi’s family, the man’s family stated that their six-year-old daughter was with her at the time of the accident. According to the young girl, Santoshi was engrossed in a phone call and failed to notice the power line.
Santoshi leaves behind her grieving parents, a brother, and three sisters. The family, initially immersed in joyous celebrations, now finds themselves grappling with the tragic turn of events. The police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the incident and have conducted a post-mortem examination on the deceased.
