A man was taken into custody on Friday following an altercation with customers at the Buckland Grill in South Windsor, Connecticut.

Law enforcement officials were alerted to the incident and promptly arrived at the scene on Buckland Road. The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Scott A. Forest, was reportedly uncooperative and had to be forcibly restrained by officers.

Altercation Details

Investigations revealed that Forest had engaged in a heated dispute with a customer over a seating arrangement issue involving his children. This escalated into a physical altercation where Forest allegedly pushed one customer multiple times while attempting to reach the other.

Additionally, Forest caused further chaos by hurling a large wooden sign towards the exit, inadvertently striking two individuals in the process.

Charges and Legal Proceedings

Following the incident, Forest was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, as well as obstructing law enforcement officers and causing public disturbance. He is slated to make a court appearance on the 20th of May to address these charges.
