Anjali Lodhi : “Man Burns Wife, Cuts Hair”

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A horrifying incident unfolded in Dwarkapuri police circle as a 22-year-old woman fell victim to a brutal attack by her husband, just 25 days after their marriage. The newlywed couple, Anjali and Sajit Lodhi, tied the knot a month ago. However, the harmony in their relationship was shattered late on Friday night when Sajit, suspecting Anjali of having an illicit affair, subjected her to a vicious assault.

Anjali Lodhi bravely came forward and lodged a complaint against her husband, leading to his arrest. She recounted the traumatic events, alleging that Sajit first drugged her with sleeping pills before cutting off her hair, burning her back with a saree, and issuing threats of further harm. In her moment of distress, Anjali managed to reach out to her uncle, Bablu Manje, who rushed to her aid with his wife.

Upon arriving at the scene, Bablu Manje was appalled by the sight of Anjali’s mutilated appearance. Shocked by the extent of the violence inflicted upon her, he revealed that Anjali had lost her mother long ago, and he had arranged her marriage with Sajit without knowing about his violent tendencies. The police promptly registered a case against the accused under the relevant sections of the IPC and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.

Tragic Death of Worker at Rau Railway Site

A tragic incident unfolded at the Rau railway site, where a private company employee lost his life after falling from an electric pole while on duty. The victim, identified as Shivnath Parsi (28) from Gaganpur, Uttar Pradesh, was working under a private contractor when the unfortunate accident occurred.

Reports suggest that Shivnath suffered an electric shock while carrying out his tasks on the pole, leading to his fatal fall. The Rau Police have commenced an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and establish accountability for the unfortunate loss of life.
