Accident – Death – Obituary News : In Ranchi, six individuals, including three women, have been apprehended in connection with two cases of child abduction, as confirmed by SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha on Saturday.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Radha Sahu, Amit Sanatan, Tikki alias Sunil, Nudrat Jehan, Suhana Begum, and Jagdish Sah. The incidents involved the abduction of a nine-month-old boy named Subham Lohra from the Ranchi railway station last Sunday. The father of the child, Pradeep Lohra, lodged a complaint with the Chutia police station stating that two men and a woman had befriended them at the railway station and subsequently absconded with the baby.

Law enforcement authorities utilized CCTV footage to identify the culprits and dispatched a team to Odisha, where the arrests were made. The child was recovered from the Charichhak police station area in Puri district of Odisha on Friday. Investigation revealed that Radha, Amit, and Tikki had sold the baby for Rs 58,500 to Nudrat, who later sold it to Suhana.

In a separate incident, Sukhdeonagar police managed to rescue a four-year-old girl who had been kidnapped from Friends Colony on Friday. Jagdish was arrested in connection with this case.

The swift actions of the police in identifying the perpetrators and recovering the abducted children highlight the effectiveness of law enforcement efforts in combating such heinous crimes.
