Zoe Mafia Family Gang Member Arrested for Cocaine and Fentanyl Dealing in Broward County

A man identified as a member of the notorious Zoe Mafia Family gang has been apprehended by law enforcement authorities in Broward County, Florida, for his involvement in drug trafficking activities. The suspect, known as Tedrick Lewis, has a history of dealing with cocaine for over a decade, with recent reports indicating his illicit addition of the deadly synthetic opioid fentanyl to his criminal enterprise.

According to official records, Lewis has a troubling criminal past, having been arrested multiple times for cocaine-related offenses starting from a young age. By the time he was 22, he had accumulated eight felony convictions, including one for possession of a weapon.

After serving time in state prison, Lewis was released on minimum custody status just over a month after his 24th birthday, only to find himself back in the custody of law enforcement officers in Fort Lauderdale.

Following a tip-off, police officers arrested Lewis, also known by the street name “Gucci,” at the main jail in Fort Lauderdale. A warrant signed by Broward County Circuit Judge Hunter Davis led to Lewis being held without bond by the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Undercover detectives reported purchasing cocaine and fentanyl from Lewis during covert operations near his residence in the Royal Ponciana area. The transactions included the sale of various quantities of drugs, including fentanyl and cocaine, over several meetings in April and May.

A subsequent search of Lewis’s home uncovered a significant quantity of cocaine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and other incriminating evidence, leading to additional charges being filed against him.

In addition to drug-related charges, Lewis is facing allegations of unlawful use of a two-way communications device, false imprisonment, burglary, and resisting arrest. The severity of the charges reflects the extent of his alleged criminal activities.

As the legal process unfolds, Lewis remains in custody with a bond set at £185,500. Authorities are working to ensure that any funds used to secure his release are not derived from the proceeds of his alleged criminal operations.
