On Wednesday morning at approximately 6:40 a.m., authorities from both the Maryland-National Capital Park Police and PGPD were called to respond to a park situated in the 11900 block of Autumnwood Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered a young man who had sustained gunshot wounds and was found unconscious at the scene.

Tragically, the victim, identified as David Frye from Washington, D.C., succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the location.
