Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident unfolded in Gurugram, Haryana, as a 31-year-old man lost his life after being allegedly run over by a neighbour in a horrifying incident on Sunday night. The victim, Rishabh Jasuja, a manager at an IT company, was dragged for several metres on the bonnet of a car driven by the accused, Manoj Bhardwaj, after a heated altercation in South City 2 on Sohna Road.
The altercation reportedly began when a servant of Rishabh parked a cab in front of Manoj’s house, leading to a confrontation between the two parties. Upon Rishabh’s return home with his brother Ranjak, mother, and wife after dinner, the situation escalated into a physical altercation between Rishabh and Manoj.
In a shocking turn of events, Manoj called his friends for support, and together they attacked the brothers. The violence did not stop there, as Manoj then got into his Hyundai Creta and deliberately hit both brothers, dragging them on the car’s bonnet for approximately 20 metres. The entire brutal act was captured on CCTV cameras, with the footage quickly circulating on social media platforms.
Tragically, Rishabh succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. His brother remains in critical condition and is receiving medical treatment. The police have registered an FIR against Manoj Bhardwaj and his accomplices under sections 302 (murder), 307 (attempted murder), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code at Sector 50 Police Station.
Inspector Satyawan, the SHO, affirmed that efforts are underway to apprehend the accused, stating, “An FIR has been registered against the unidentified and main accused Manoj Bhardwaj. We are conducting raids, and the accused will be arrested soon.”
