Gorvika Nagar : Tragic: Toddler Locked in Car, Dies – Republic World

A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Kota, Rajasthan, as a three-year-old girl tragically suffocated to death after being accidentally locked inside a car while her parents were attending a wedding ceremony. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday night, has left the community in shock and mourning.

The young victim, identified as Gorvika Nagar, was with her father, Pradeep Nagar, who had gone to attend a function at Jorawarpura village along with his wife and two daughters. Tragedy struck when the family arrived at the venue and the mother and eldest daughter exited the car, leaving Gorvika inside.

According to Khatoli police station SHO Banna Lal, Pradeep Nagar parked the vehicle assuming Gorvika was with her mother inside the venue. Unbeknownst to him, the young girl was still in the back seat of the car. As the parents got engrossed in the festivities, almost two hours passed before they realised Gorvika was missing.

Frantic with worry, the parents began searching for their daughter and were devastated to find her unconscious in the car. They immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, but tragically, she was declared dead upon arrival by doctors.

Despite the heartbreaking loss, the parents refused to authorise an autopsy or file a police case, choosing instead to grieve in private. The entire community is in mourning over the tragic loss of young Gorvika Nagar.
