The Town of Greece Police Department released a statement, revealing that the threat was communicated via Snapchat and was reported by Greece Central School District security early in the morning.

The individual responsible for the Snapchat post was identified as a 13-year-old female student at the school. She has since been charged with making a terroristic threat and falsely reporting an incident in the first degree, both of which are considered Class D felonies.
