Accident – Death – Obituary News :
A heartbreaking incident unfolded on Monday night in Dhaka’s Gulbagh area as an 18-year-old student lost his life in a tragic train accident. The victim, identified as Md Sifat, hailing from Zajira upazila of Shariatpur, resided in Jatrabari Nobinagar’s Mirhajhirbagh neighbourhood and had recently completed his SSC from a local school.
Eyewitnesses to the incident reported that the collision occurred around 8:00 pm while Md Sifat was attempting to cross the railway line.
Following the accident, Md Sifat was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where medical professionals unfortunately pronounced him deceased.
Inspector Md Bachchu Miah, who oversees the DMCH Police Post, confirmed the tragic event and stated that the victim’s body had been transferred to the hospital’s morgue for post-mortem examinations.
