A body was discovered on Thursday during the search for a missing man in Aiken, South Carolina, according to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office located the body around 4 p.m. on the 100 block of Hunter Branch Road.
The individual has now been identified as Calvin L. Edwards, a 52-year-old resident of Salley, who was reported missing on May 8.

Following an autopsy conducted on Monday in Newberry, Coroner Darryl Ables determined that Calvin L. Edwards’ death was due to natural causes.
