Accident – Death – Obituary News : A 65-year-old man tragically lost his life in a brutal attack inside a gurdwara in Hapur, Meerut. The victim, identified as Jaspal Singh, resided in the Shivpuri area of Hapur and worked as a sevadaar at gurdwara Kalgidhar Singh. The incident occurred during the renovation work at the gurdwara, which was being overseen by Jaspal’s uncle. A heated argument ensued between Jaspal and Sarav Pal Singh, who opposed the construction work and had previously issued threats. The altercation escalated, leading to Sarav Pal Singh viciously attacking Jaspal, punching his chest repeatedly until he fell.
Jaspal was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention, but tragically succumbed to his injuries. The police have registered a case under IPC section 302 (murder) against the accused, who is currently on the run. Additional SP Raj Kumar Agarwal stated, “There was a dispute between two groups which led to the incident. Probe is ongoing, and efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrator.”
