Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 10 Injures Three in Ray County

A multi-vehicle accident took place on Highway 10 at Route M in Ray County on the evening of May 10, 2024, resulting in minor injuries to three individuals. The incident, involving three vehicles, occurred around 6:55 p.m.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the crash was triggered when a northbound 2024 Mercedes failed to halt at a stop sign on Route M. The Mercedes proceeded to cross Highway 10, leading to a collision with a westbound 2009 BMW. The impact caused the BMW to then collide with a stationary 2017 Lexus at a southbound stop sign on Route M.

Among those injured in the accident were the driver of the Mercedes, Brian J. LeBlanc, 51, from Columbia, and the driver of the BMW, Carisa A. Minnick, 44, from Richmond. Both individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported to Liberty Hospital by emergency medical services. Additionally, Jeremiah E. Lee, 40, a passenger in the BMW, also suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Janice Vang, 49, a passenger in the Lexus, declined medical attention at the scene.

All occupants involved in the collision were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident. Local towing services were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol received assistance from Ray County emergency services in managing the aftermath of the crash.
