A 55-year-old man tragically took the lives of his two young children before ending his own life in their home in West Mambalam, Chennai. The horrific incident occurred on Friday after a heated domestic dispute with his wife.
The man, identified as Mohan, was a businessman in the area. His children, M. Sai Swathi and M. Tejas, were students at a local school. When Mohan’s wife, Yamuna, returned home that fateful evening, she was met with a locked door. Concerned, she sought help from neighbours to break open the door, only to discover the heartbreaking scene inside.
Authorities from the Kumaran Nagar police were called to the scene and the bodies were subsequently taken to Government Royapettah Hospital for post-mortem examinations. The community is now reeling from the shock and tragedy of the events that unfolded in their midst.
