Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team has taken action by filing a motion to dismiss a lawsuit that accuses him of sexual assault. This move comes after the music mogul, aged 54, along with former Bad Boy Entertainment president Harve Pierre and another individual referred to as “Third Assailant,” were sued by a woman known as Jane Doe in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

The lawsuit, filed in December 2023, alleges that the individuals engaged in sex trafficking and gang rape against Doe when she was only 17 years old. Combs has vehemently denied all the allegations in his ongoing sexual assault lawsuits.

The latest court documents, dated May 10 and obtained by PEOPLE, reveal that Combs’ attorneys argue that this is the second attempt by Doe to make false and heinous claims against the Combs Defendants.

The motion dismisses the plaintiff’s use of “trigger warning” in her pleading as legally irrelevant, labeling it as a stunt intended to bring unwarranted attention to baseless and time-barred claims. The motion states that these claims have already tarnished the reputations and business standing of the Combs Defendants without any evidence being presented.

Referring to the plaintiff’s inability to provide specifics about the alleged incident’s date or time, the filing insists that the case should be dismissed immediately to protect the Combs Defendants from further reputational harm and to prevent the squandering of party and judicial resources.

As previously reported by PEOPLE, the accuser’s lawsuit recounts how she was given drugs and alcohol before being brutally gang-raped one after the other after being lured to Combs’ recording studio in New York City via a private jet.

Jane Doe’s lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, has previously stated that “The depravity of these abhorrent acts has, not surprisingly, scarred our client for life.” PEOPLE has reached out to Wigdor for comment regarding the latest filing.

Combs has been faced with multiple sexual assault lawsuits in recent months. In November 2023, Cassie, his on-again-off-again girlfriend from 2007 to 2018, accused him of rape and abuse over their decade-long relationship.

Although the initial lawsuit was settled the following day, Combs was accused of sexual assault by another woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal shortly after. She claimed that he drugged and raped her while she was a college student at Syracuse University in 1991.

On the same day, Combs was accused by a third woman, another Jane Doe, of sexually assaulting her and a friend with singer-songwriter Aaron Hall more than 30 years ago in New York City.

In February, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a former producer and videographer, filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him during their time working together.
