Accident – Death – Obituary News : NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 16-year-old boy has been apprehended in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Nashville in June 2023. Isaiah Crawley was arrested on Thursday afternoon after being identified as one of the suspects involved in the shooting that left two individuals injured on Foster Street, as confirmed by the Metro Nashville Police Department.
The victims had reportedly arranged to meet Crawley and another suspect, 20-year-old Santez Beddingfield, on Foster Street on June 29, where they were subsequently robbed and shot. One victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, while the other suffered injuries to the abdomen.
Beddingfield’s involvement in the armed robbery was swiftly established, thanks to an ankle monitor that he was mandated to wear following a prior arrest for a separate shooting incident in late 2022. He was taken into custody on July 19, 2023, on charges of attempted criminal homicide, among others.
Following the arrest at his residence in East Nashville, Crawley was brought before juvenile court and charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated robbery, possession of a firearm as a minor, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
