The Allen County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky responded to a tragic incident early Thursday morning where a man was found dead following flooding in the area. According to WNKY News, emergency crews were called to the 100 block of Blankenship Road after reports of an overturned vehicle in water.
Upon arrival at the scene, officials did not find anyone inside the vehicle but discovered a man approximately 40 yards away from the vehicle. The man, identified as 56-year-old Clarence Novosel, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County coroner. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently under investigation.
