The Franklin County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, just outside Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Sunday. According to reports from The Columbus Dispatch, the death is being investigated as an apparent suicide, as indicated in the coroner documents.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine how the woman fell from the 136-foot (41 meters) tall stadium to the pavement below. However, Ohio State police have stated that they do not suspect foul play and believe that the fall was not accidental, as mentioned by university spokesperson Ben Johnson on Tuesday.
