The events unfolded on a fateful evening when Delaware State Police responded to a distressing call reporting gunfire in the 100 block of Cilento Drive. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a harrowing sight.

A 38-year-old woman, later identified as Vicky Williams, was found in the front yard of the property with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save her, she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
