The deceased individual who tragically fell from the Ohio Stadium has been identified as Larissa Brady, a 53-year-old woman from Georgia, as confirmed by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office.

Brady was pronounced dead at the scene around 12:25 p.m., with the coroner confirming her identity through fingerprint analysis on Tuesday morning.

In a statement later that day, university spokesperson Ben Johnson revealed that Brady was a family member of a graduate. While some sources have identified Brady as the mother of a graduating student, additional verification is being sought by The Lantern for clarity on the incident.

Despite not yet having access to an official police report, Johnson stated that authorities do not suspect foul play or an accidental fall in this tragic event.

“Ohio State is deeply saddened by the loss of Larissa Brady, a cherished family member of one of our graduates,” Johnson expressed. “Our thoughts are with her loved ones during this incredibly challenging time.”

Brady fell from the southeast side of the Ohio Stadium at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, as confirmed by Ohio State officials.

“Counselling services are readily available for members of our community seeking support,” Johnson added. “Students can reach out by calling 614-292-5766 and selecting option 2 for immediate assistance outside of regular hours. Faculty and staff are encouraged to contact 1-800-678-6265.
