Alek Collins : “Texas Man Clovis Double Homicide Suspect”

The Clovis Police Department in New Mexico has named Alek Collins, a 26-year-old individual from Houston, as the suspect in the abduction of an infant following a tragic double homicide incident just north of Clovis on May 3.

According to the latest information released by CPD, Collins was apprehended along with 10-month-old Eleia Maria Torres at a residence in Abilene. Authorities have stated that there appears to be no prior connection between the suspect and the victims in this case.

The initial police response took place at Ned Houk Park, located five miles north of Clovis, where officers discovered the bodies of Samantha “Harley” Cisneros and Taryn Allen, both 23 years old and from Texico. The women were found deceased with gunshot wounds near a silver minivan. Additionally, a 5-year-old girl was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head and was subsequently transported to a hospital in Lubbock. CPD confirmed that baby Eleia was taken during the incident, with Cisneros being identified as the mother of both children.

On the day of the tragic events, the victims had stopped at Twin Cronnie’s for food before visiting Dollar Tree on North Prince Street in Clovis. They then proceeded to Ned Houk Park, where a witness reported hearing gunshots but did not immediately alert law enforcement.

At approximately 4:25 p.m., two male individuals entered the park and discovered the victims near the minivan, leading to the subsequent police response.
