KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A tragic incident occurred in Richmond, Missouri, as one person lost their life in a fatal crash on State Route T south of 88th Street on Monday night, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident took place around 7:15 PM when a vehicle veered off the road, struck an embankment, and ultimately overturned. Unfortunately, the driver, identified as 26-year-old Jason Pettiecord, did not survive the crash as he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
