Alek Collins : Clovis Double Homicide and Kidnapping Suspect: Texas Man Wanted for Crimes

The Clovis Police Department has revealed new details about the suspect involved in the abduction of an infant following a tragic double homicide just north of Clovis on May 3. The suspect has been named as Alek Collins, a 26-year-old individual hailing from Houston.

According to the CPD, Collins was apprehended along with 10-month-old Eleia Maria Torres at a residence in Abilene. The police indicated that the suspect had no prior connection to the victims involved in the case.

Initial reports from the police indicated that the incident took place at Ned Houk Park, located five miles north of Clovis, around 4:26 p.m. Samantha “Harley” Cisneros and Taryn Allen, both 23 years old and residents of Texico, were discovered deceased with gunshot wounds outside a silver minivan. A 5-year-old girl was also found with a gunshot wound to the head and was promptly transported to a hospital in Lubbock. CPD confirmed that baby Eleia was taken during the abduction. Cisneros is identified as the mother of both children.

Further investigations by law enforcement revealed that on the day of the tragic incident, the group comprising the two women and the children made a stop at Twin Cronnie’s for food. Subsequently, they visited Dollar Tree in the 3900 block of North Prince Street before heading to the park. A witness present at the park reported hearing what he believed to be gunshots but did not immediately alert the authorities.

At approximately 4:25 p.m., two male individuals entered the park and discovered the victims next to the minivan.

Authorities declined to provide further details or answer any queries during the latest update on the case.
