The body of a man discovered on the side of the road leading to the new settlement in the Tokomololo area on Sunday, May 5, has been identified as Kepueli ‘Ahome’e, aged 50, from Ha’alalo.

Authorities from the Tonga Police received the report of the incident at 2:10 p.m. on Sunday and immediately initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

As of now, the cause of death has not been determined and investigations are ongoing to establish the facts surrounding this tragic event.
