On Thursday, the Wichita Police Department arrested three individuals, including a 17-year-old boy, 25-year-old Kveion Darnell Richard, and 21-year-old Jonathan Tillery-Matthias, all from Wichita. They are facing a requested charge of Felony Murder for their alleged involvement in this tragic case.

It has been revealed that Tillery-Matthias is currently on pre-trial supervision for Criminal Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle, stemming from a previous Wichita Police investigation. Richard, on the other hand, was on Parole for various charges including Criminal Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Assault, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

Authorities believe that the shooting incident was a targeted event that tragically resulted in the death of an innocent child. The facts of the case will be presented to Sedgwick County District Attorney Marc Bennett for further legal proceedings.
