Accident – Death – Obituary News : On the 22nd of January 2024, officials from the Anne Arundel County Department of Detention Facilities thwarted an attempt to smuggle CDS-related contraband, suspected to be Suboxone, into the facility. The culprit behind this smuggling attempt was identified as Caitlyn Nicole Cain, a 26-year-old resident of Pasadena. Cain was promptly apprehended and charged for her involvement in the incident.
Following a thorough investigation, detectives from the Anne Arundel County Police Criminal Gang Unit, in collaboration with the Anne Arundel County Department of Detention Facility Security Threat Group Unit, identified Malique Gabriel Williams, a 24-year-old inmate from Pasadena, as the intended recipient of the contraband. Subsequent inquiries revealed that Williams was aware of the smuggling attempt, leading to his arrest and subsequent charges on the 9th of February 2024.
This operation was made possible through the joint efforts of the Maryland State Police, Anne Arundel County Police Department, and Anne Arundel County Department of Detention Facilities, operating under the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network (MCIN).
