FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit has identified the man who was found dead on a sidewalk in Fresno on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Dominic Greco from Clovis.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel responded to a report of an injured individual on the side of the street near Chestnut and Harvard Avenues in Fresno around 4:30 p.m. on February 18. Upon arrival, medics discovered Greco, who was later pronounced dead.

According to officials, the injuries sustained by Greco were deemed suspicious, prompting EMS to notify the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and homicide detectives were dispatched to the scene, where it was determined that Greco’s death was the result of a homicide.

Appeal for Video Footage

Authorities are appealing to businesses in the vicinity with surveillance footage covering the surrounding streets between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on February 18 to come forward. The footage could potentially provide valuable information to aid in the ongoing investigation.

Homicide detectives are actively working to gather more details about Greco, including his recent activities and whereabouts, as well as identifying the individual responsible for his untimely demise.
