Badal Kumar : 5-Year-Old Boy Killed in Patna: Tragic Patna News

Patna: A heartbreaking incident unfolded in the Shahjahanpur police station area of Patna district on Wednesday, as a five-year-old boy fell victim to a violent attack. The authorities suspect that the incident is a result of an ongoing feud between the child’s father and another individual from the same locality. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Badal Kumar, the son of Pawan Kumar from Ramlalpur village. “Both parties were embroiled in a business-related dispute,” revealed Fatuha SDPO Siyaram Yadav.

Arrest Made in Connection with Recent Murder Cases in Patna

The Special Task Force (STF) and local law enforcement officials in Patna made a significant breakthrough on Wednesday by apprehending the main suspect, Shiv Gope, in the murder case of Danapur Nagar Parishad vice-chairman Deepak Mehta in March 2022. Phulwarisharif SDPO Vikram Sihag confirmed that Shiv Gope was taken into custody while attending a funeral event in Digha Haat. Notably, Shiv Gope was also wanted in connection with the murder of a construction company worker in the Beur police station area back in August 2020. Ravi Gope had previously been arrested in the Deepak Mehta murder case.

Liquor Seizure in Rajiv Nagar: Two Traders Apprehended

In a separate development, authorities in Patna made two arrests after seizing 400 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a shop located near road number 6 in the Rajiv Nagar police station area. The individuals apprehended were identified as liquor traders, and they are currently facing charges related to the illegal possession and distribution of alcohol. The crackdown on illicit liquor activities is part of the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to maintain public safety and curb the influence of the underground alcohol trade in the region.
