DCP (Dwarka) Ankit Singh confirmed that a PCR call was received at Dwarka South Police Station reporting a fire inside a flat. Fire tenders rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze, but not before two women, identified as Jasuri Devi aged 83 and Pooja Pant aged 30, attempted to escape by jumping from the balcony. Tragically, Jasuri Devi succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Ayushman Hospital. Pooja Pant sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
