Police in the San Fernando Valley are currently investigating a tragic incident after a man was discovered shot to death on a sidewalk. The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Jorge Ramos by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident took place at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Ethel Avenue in the Valley Glen neighborhood at approximately 1:28 p.m. Officers responded to reports of a shooting and upon arrival, found Ramos lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Tragically, paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
As of now, no suspect has been located in the surrounding area as authorities continue their investigation into this devastating crime.
