Accident – Death – Obituary News :

MANHATTAN, N.Y. — The suspect accused of killing a Queens woman in a New York City hotel allegedly boasted about the brutal murder after he was apprehended for stabbing two women in Arizona. Authorities are now urging law enforcement agencies nationwide to investigate any possible connections to crimes in their jurisdictions.

Raad Almansoori, 26, is accused of bludgeoning Denisse Oleas-Arancibia, 38, to death with an iron following a dispute inside room 1109 at the SoHo 54 Hotel at 54 Watts St. in Lower Manhattan. The victim’s body was discovered by a hotel employee on the morning of February 8, with authorities determining that she died from blunt force trauma and had pieces of plastic embedded in her head from the bloody iron found near her.

According to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny, the altercation between Almansoori and Oleas-Arancibia stemmed from a disagreement over the time allowed for staying in the room after services were rendered. Almansoori had reportedly met with an escort in Manhattan the day before the incident.

Almansoori allegedly left behind blood-stained pants in the room and exited the hotel wearing the victim’s leggings before flying from Newark Liberty International Airport to Arizona on February 12. In Arizona, he is accused of carjacking a woman at knifepoint and stabbing a McDonald’s employee multiple times in a restroom over the weekend.

Following his arrest in Arizona for driving a stolen vehicle, Almansoori informed officers that he was wanted for a homicide in New York, prompting authorities in both states to collaborate on his extradition. It remains uncertain when Almansoori will be transported to New York to face charges.

Almansoori has a history of arrests in multiple states, including Florida, Texas, and Arizona, with charges ranging from kidnapping to domestic violence and assault. Arizona police revealed that Almansoori admitted to harming three more individuals, leading authorities to suspect additional victims in other states.

Police are urging the public and law enforcement agencies across the country to provide any information on Almansoori’s activities. Kenny noted that the suspect has ties to Florida and Texas in addition to Arizona, where his family resides.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are working with the FBI to uncover any further links to criminal activities connected to Almansoori. The case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of nationwide cooperation in tackling violent crimes and ensuring justice for victims.
